Sharon Joy Warren of Walden, NY, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025, in Middletown. She was 81.
The daughter of the late James Williams and Dorothy Auchmoody Williams, she was born April 22, 1944, in Newburgh, NY.

Sharon was a retired secretary for Town of Newburgh Fleet Maintenance. She was a member of the Montgomery Senior Center where she enjoyed bingo, exercising and coffee with her friends, especially her best friend Julia. Sharon also had fun working on puzzles, and after completion would trade puzzles with her friends. She had a love of animals, particularly her cats and all the wild birds that she kept well fed in her yard. Sharon always enjoyed going out to dinner with her grandchildren, an evening she would look forward to often.

Sharon was the widow of Neil W. Warren.

She is survived by her daughter Melanie Roosa, daughter Kimberly Engness and her husband Kurt, grandchildren Kyle Roosa, Ryan (Erin) Roosa, Meagan (Kevin) Bowers, Jonathan Roosa, Christopher Engness, great granddaughter on the way Kinsley, brother James Williams and his wife Alisa, sister-in-law Patricia Williams and her beloved cats Shadow and Tiggy.

Along with Neil and her parents she was predeceased by her granddaughter Kaitlyn Engness and brother Gerald Williams.
Visitation will take place Thursday, October 2, 2025, 2pm-5pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.

A funeral service will follow at 5pm at the funeral home. Rev. James VanHouten will officiate.

Cremation will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Walden Humane Society, 2489 Albany Post Road, Walden, NY 12586.
