Sharon Watts Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Richardson Funeral Home - Perry on Jan. 16, 2026.
Sharon Denise Watts was born on February 20, 1958 to the late Henry and Ethel

Robinson. She peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on January 14, 2026.

Raised in a loving and close-knit family, Sharon was introduced and accepted Christ at an early age, building a life rooted in faith, love, and service.

Sharon was educated in the Houston County School System and used her many talents in various jobs, and especially loved using her gift of persuasion in sales. She married the love of her life, the late Herman Watts, Sr., and together they raised two children whom she loved deeply and cherished until her final breath.

After the passing of her husband, Sharon found comfort by renewing her faith and spiritual journey by returning to Marthann Missionary Baptist Church in Perry, Georgia. There she was a faithful member and dedicated her time to serving on the Pastor's Aide Committee.

Sharon enjoyed traveling, family gatherings, and keeping up with her favorite

network, CNN. She treasured time spent with her sister Brenda, exploring new places to eat and shop, and cherished every moment with her grandchildren - staying connected even from afar through FaceTime.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ethel Mae Robinson; her brother, Henry Robinson Jr.; her sisters, Bernice and Bennie Lee Robinson; and her beloved husband, Herman Watts, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Herman (Zohnna) Watts, Jr. and LaShonda (Loren) Soma; her siblings, Lenora (Scott Lundy, Carlton (Diane) Robinson, Sr., Kelvin Robinson, Christine (Ronnie Sr.) Jackson, Brenda Vance, Levi (Tanja) Womack; her aunt Velma Robinson; her cherished in-laws, Ronald Watts, Betty Andrews, Shirley Maddox, and Deborah Martins; her grandchildren, Jaylen, Alexias (Cameron), Kennedy, Gabrielle, Zora, and Mila; one great grandson, West; a devoted niece, Brittany (Torrance) Haslem; a faithful bonus daughter, Albertina Watts; along with many other loving relatives and dear friends.
