Sharon Jean Webster

Mrs. Sharon Hale Webster, age 77 of Portland, Tennessee passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 3, 2023. Mrs. Sharon was born on September 2, 1945 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late John and Jewel Pitt Hale.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Young; sisters, Linda Ladd and Janice Billings; infant brother.
She is survived by her son, John R. Carroll; daughter, Teresa G. Wallace; sister, Diane Rodgers; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 6th at 1 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Pastor Howie Cantrell officiating. Interment will be at Halltown Cemetery with Tyler Newland, Justin Newland, Mason Swonger, J.R. Carroll, Derek Carroll, and Travus Carroll serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Monday, June 5th from 4:00-8:00 PM and Tuesday, June 6th from 10 AM until service time at 1 PM.
