Sharon Westfall Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Conger-Morris Funeral Directors - Medford on Jan. 28, 2025.
Sharon Anne Westfall passed away on 01/05/2025, at the age of 74, at Asante Regional Hospital in Medford, Oregon. A Celebration of Life will tak e place on 02/04/2025, at Phoenix Plaza Civic Center, 220 S Main St., Phoenix, Oregon, from 4:00 to 6:00pm.
Sharon was born Sharon Anne Blair, to Russell E and Petronella Blair, on 04/28/1950, in Ashland Oregon. She graduated from Ashland High School in 1968. In 1970, she married her first husband, Bill Hutchinson, and had two children. She worked at Ashland Jewelry, on the Ashland Plaza, and then at Klamath First Federal, while attending Southern Oregon State College. In 1982, she married Dave Westfall, who remained lovingly by her side for 43 years, and had one child.
Sharon was a loving Mother and Wife, who enjoyed sewing, knitting, making jewelry, and doting on her grandchildren. She was a Mom to many more in the Phoenix area, through baseball, football, softball and local schools, having an impact on so many lives. She was generous, donating to local functions and political drives, and loved to interact with people. Sharon was an avid animal lover, with her children often joking "if there is such a thing as reincarnation, we want to come back as one of Moms dogs", due to the way they were loved and spoiled. Sharon also enjoyed family trips, whether it be camping, going to the coast, mountain drives, sports outings, or special trips to watch a Garth Brooks concert with all of her kids. Christmas was a special time for Sharon, and she never failed to create a beautiful Christmas Wonderland at home.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Dave Westfall, her brothers Russell Blair and Michael Blair, her children Bill Hutchinson, Bekke Rutkowski and David Westfall, her grandchildren, Aaron Hutchinson, Easton Westfall, Mackenzie Rutkowski, Meghan Rutkowski, Abby Calkins and Taylor Thomas, and her many nieces and nephews, whom she adored.
