Sharron Leeka, 63, of Spiceland, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at her home in Spiceland. She was born on September 24, 1960, in Rushville to the late Robert and Shirley (Luellen) Lane.
She was a 1979 graduate of Tri High School, she worked at Ivy Tech as an administrative assistant. Sharron loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed crafting, baking and entertaining. Sharron also enjoyed family boating and camping trips.
Sharron is survived by her husband, Chad Leeka; children, Tyler Leeka and Ryan (Katie) Leeka; grandchildren, Zaylen, Kinlee, Landon, Lauren and Chad Allen; siblings, Jeremiah (Tori) Lane, Janine (Ethan) Weesner; along with several nieces, nephews, many friends and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Becky Lane.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Tony Darling officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Spiceland Fire Department PO box 317 Spiceland, IN 47385.
