Sharron J. Logan, 77, of New Castle went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at IU Health Ball Hospital. She was born February 5, 1948 in New Castle to the late T. R. Logan and Yettiva (Thompson) Wade.
Sharron was a 1966 graduate of New Castle High School. She attended Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church and was the Secretary for Bible Study Fellowship for several years. In her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling and traveling with her former husband with their BMW motorcycle club. Sharron never missed watching her children or grandchildren participate in any activity they were involved in. She was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting, sewing and cross stitching.
She is survived by her children, Suzzann (Monte) Bottoms, Melissa Savage, Angella Abrams, Christin (Emily) Gibson; grandchildren, Shawn Bottoms, Andrea May, Autumn (Marc) Wilburn, Emily Jennings, Megan Bottoms, Paige Bottoms (Ryan Armaly), Tatum Abrams, Gracelynn Daniels and Jaelynn Wiggins-Bash; 9 great grandchildren; and a special niece, Amanda (James) Rich.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Logan and her beloved dog of 17 years, Zoey.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2025 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Steve Arnett officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to Bible Study Fellowship with envelopes available at the funeral home.
