I first met Kay when one room schools consolidated and we were in 4th grade at Pleasant Gap Elementary School. Kay was quiet, pleasant, and talented. Kay was ahead of the rest of us in the class academically and our star class representative as she played the piano at our school assemblies in elementary school. Later, as a teen, she enjoyed roller skating at Hecla Park and it was always an honor to skate with Kay. Rest in Peace. God Bless.
