Shaun was born on February 26, 1979 in Melbourne, Florida to James Patrick and Geralyn Maria Salzillo Warburton.
He was a man of few words; however when he spoke, he was the voice of reason. A kind hearted, generous, and loyal person, he was an extremely private person. He loved his family and valued his many friendships. Shaun would do anything for anyone and would stop everything to help anyone who needed it.
Shaun loved the challenge! He could fix just about anything and he never met a computer he couldn't get running again. He also loved his radios, didn't matter if it was a scanner or Ham. Always with a radio. he was always listening!
He also loved taking pictures whether it was with his camera or his phone. He never let his vision stop him from doing what needed to be done, He bravely went about his life without complaint. When he was 19 he fought cancer with that same strength.
Shaun took pride in his jobs; in addition to his primary job at Florida Tech, he worked parttime for 24 years with the Indialantic Police Department. He valued his coworkers and always gave his best.
Shaun will truly be missed by his parents Jim and Gerry; brother and sister-in-law Kristopher and Cindy; nephew Benjamin; uncle and aunt John and Marylyn Amoroso; aunt Linda Salzillo; cousins, Yo P, Michael and Katie. The Crimi and Fronzo families and his puppy Kali were special to him.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 12:00 – 1:00pm at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home, 1010 E. Palmetto Avenue, Melbourne, Florida 32901. His memorial service will follow at 1:00pm.
