Our beautiful Shauna Lenee Madrid was blessed to be welcomed into heaven on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, surrounded by her family whom she cherished dearly. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Shauna's family at www.andersonbethany.com.
A Celebration of Life to honor this extraordinary woman will be Monday, November 18, 2024, at 10 am, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory. Her final resting place will be at South Park Cemetery.
Shauna was born to Leo Madrid & Tina Medina on April 29, 1986. From birth Shauna was so full of life, spunk, sass! To her dad she was "the cool kid" and she made sure everyone knew it! She loved to make her mama's blood boil with her free spirit and "made for the streets" life moto but when all was said and done her mom was her "queen." To Eric, Shauna could do no wrong and vice versa! She was more than just his little sister, she was like his first child, and she respected him the same! Takara took pride in being her big sister and fulfilled that role to a T. Shauna was affectionately known as "Auntie Duh" to her nieces and nephews and if you knew Shauna you understand why! She adored each of them and always reminded them how much she loved them.
Shauna graduated from University High School and attended ENMU-R. In each career path she chose she always excelled to the top! Shauna also proudly served on the hospitality team at Church on the Move. The role she took most pride in though was being a mother to her four children. Along with being the best friend anyone could ask for.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Tina Medina; her children: Mariah, Sergio and Lucius and her beautiful rainbow baby, Ariel; as well as her "seester" Takara Madrid (Stephanie); brothers: Eric Madrid (Elisianna), Javier Madrid and Gabriel Lara; grandmother, Tillie Madrid; grandfather, Roberto Varela; her beautiful nieces and handsome nephews; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; Sergio Vasquez and Jesse Sambrano; along with best friends: Jose Ibarra and Shika Minner.
Waiting for our beautiful angel as she walked into heavens gates were her father, Leo Madrid; grandmother, Josie Medina; grandfather, Henry Madrid; nephew, Leroy Madrid; and special uncles: Larry Medina and Jesse Joe Samario.
Those honored to escort our gorgeous girl to her final resting place are Jose Ibarra, Xavier Reese, Joaquin Vega, Sergio Tegeda, Richard Madrid and Henry Madrid.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Sergio Vasquez Sr., Sergio Vasquez Jr, Lucius Vasquez, Robert Madrid, Jason Madrid, Marciano Madrid, Javier Madrid Jr, Kyngg, Cayden Madrid, Malachi Madrid, and Kimberly Medina.
God blessed Shauna with so many close family and friends that have supported not only her but our entire family through this journey. Special thanks to Kimberly Medina, Alissa Madrid, Ibarra and Dillard families, Shika Minner, Richard Thyberg, Ralph and Carolina Vasquez, Gentiva Hospice, Studio B Fitness and many more. May God bless you always.
Shauna's tribute was lovingly written by her family.
