Shawn was born on August 19, 1962 in Bloomington, IL. He was raised, with his two sisters, in Chillicothe, IL by their loving parents, Donald R. and Cherrill L. (Bachler) Ball. Shawn attended Mossville School and was an IVC HS graduate – Class of 1981.
As a child, and during his teen years, Shawn was very active in the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed camping (even when only in the backyard), fishing, adventures and travels out west. In addition to being a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, Shawn was an extremely avid, all-around sports fan – He knew all the facts and stats and could have made a great sportscaster.
Surviving are his older sister, Marcia McKee of Bartonville, IL; his brother-in-law, Frank Adornato of Peoria, IL; his niece, Rowana (Christopher) Robles of Chillicothe, IL; and his great nephews, Micah and Hank Robles of Chillicothe, IL – aka "The Little Tikes," whom he adored. He was preceded in death by his parents; his younger sister, Holly Adornato; and his brother-in-law, Gregory McKee.
Cremation rites will be accorded and the arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.

I met Shawn and Sheila after buying the property they lived at. They were such nice people who were always enjoying the garden outside and taking walks together. We often talked about his plans. He was very living to Sheila and was very kind to all the neighbors. Rest in peace, Shawn.

Met him in high school. Shawn was a year ahead of me. We ended up going to many parties together. May you Rest zon Peace my brother from another mother.
