Shawn Heppard Obituary
MECHANICSBURG – Shawn Heppard, 53 of Mechanicsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 23, 2025 at home.
Shawn was born on May 26, 1971 in Urbana, Ohio, to Charles Clark Heppard and Helen F. (Yeasel) Heppard.
Shawn was a 1989 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School. Shawn was known for his quiet demeanor, big heart and love for the simple pleasures of life. A true enthusiast of music, movies and video games, Shawn found joy in the little things that brought him comfort and happiness. Shawn never was one to seek the spotlight, he lived a quiet life. His warm heart and caring nature touched the lives of those who were lucky enough to know him and he will be deeply missed.
Shawn is survived by his brother, Monte (Dawn) Heppard of Lewistown, Ohio, and sister, Tara (Frank) Venrick of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, and 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
Shawn is preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Frank and Charlene Heppard; maternal grandparents, Dean and Phyllis Yeasel, Russ and Margaret Byerly.
Memorial contributions may be made to Barely Used Pets, 844 Jackson Hill Rd., Urbana, Ohio 43078.
Services entrusted to SKILLMAN, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, Ohio.
