Shawn Allon Hobbs

Saturday, November 15, 2025 the pearly gates of Heaven opened up to allow Shawn Allon Hobbs, 41, of Lucasville to enter and rejoice with those who were waiting to share eternal life with him. Shawn spent the last few years suffering with medical conditions. His absence will be hard but we now know he is no longer suffering.

Shaw was preceded in death by his grandparents, Judy & Roger Hobbs, Patricia & Nelson Trent; and, cousins, Shaun Trent and Heather Hobbs. He is survived by his parents, Sonya Hobbs of Hillsboro, Roger Hobbs of Lucasville; his one and only sister, Vanessa Hobbs of Lucasville; a special childhood friend, Keith Whitaker, II of Dublin; his gaming friends, Heather Cowart of South Carolina, Darren Queen of Missouri, and his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Shawn lived as a gamer and his passion was rock collecting and was an R/C car enthusiast. He absence will be greatly missed.

There will be a life celebration at McCullough Baptist Fellowship Hall in Lucasville on Monday, November 24th 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. where he attended church during his childhood. Officiating the celebration will be Pastor Bob Davis. Come share your memories as we celebrate Shawn's life, as we knew him.
