Shawn Maydak

Shawn Maydak, born on November 11, 1977, passed away on March 5, 2025.
Shawn was a devoted father to his daughter, Kenleigh Maydak, and his son, Mason Maydak. He shared his life with his fiancée, Ashley Strader. He was the beloved son of Nick and Janet Maydak and a cherished brother to Nicole Jorich and her husband, William Jorich, Jr. Shawn was also a proud uncle to his three nieces, Kaitlyn, Kayla, and Alexia Jorich.
He had a passion for coaching his son's baseball and football teams, finding great joy in mentoring young athletes and sharing in their successes. An avid dart player, Shawn was actively involved in local leagues, where he formed lasting friendships and enjoyed the camaraderie of competition.
Shawn will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the warmth he brought to those around him. His infectious smile and signature big hugs left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025, 11:30AM, at Seven Sorrows BVM Church, 280 N Race St, Middletown, PA 17057.
