Shawn Peterson Obituary
Shawn was born in Macon County to the late Richard and Diane Clark Sloan. She was a member of the Trinity Assembly and loved God and his many blessings he had bestowed upon her. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and playing with her grandkids and her pets. She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandma, sister and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Peterson; granddaughters, Alexa Vannucci and Alia (Hunter Johnston) Curley; grandson, Jesus Cortes Ayala, Jr.; and brothers, Rick Sloan and Jon Sloan.
The family will have a gathering Monday, Nov. 17, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Macon Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the The Parkinson's Foundation.
Online condolences can be made at maconfuneralhome.com. Macon Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
