Shawn Alexander Smith, 25 died tragically in an automobile accident Saturday October 15, 2022. He was born in Greenwood, SC November 12, 1996, the son of Larry Smith and Michelle Adams.
Shawn was a technician at Valvoline in Seneca, but his passion was hunting and fishing … when he wasn’t doing that, he could be found working on a truck somewhere. He loved spending time with his son, Lane.
Shawn is survived and will be terribly missed by his son, Lane; his Dad, Larry Smith and his wife, Michelle; a brother, Curtis Harrison; three sisters, Brittany, Brook and Katline Smith; the love of his life, Heather Nix; grandparents, Wayne and Judy Tomlinson; and an aunt, Lacey Ward.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2-4 P.M. Thursday, October 20th at the Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Rd., Central.
Those who wish to remember Shawn in a special way are asked to consider a donation to the funeral home to help with expenses, or to any organization that supports drug addiction and mental illness.
