Shawn L. Steele, age 64, of Cleves, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2025. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 5, 1960, she was the cherished daughter of Kenneth and Dora Steele (nee Correll).
Shawn is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Kenneth and Dora Steele. She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughters, Brandi Dirr, Kelley (Shane) Davis, Christy Dirr, and sons, Aaron (Samara) Rice and LJ Rice. Shawn will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Aubrie, Sophie, Launa, Delani, Parker, and Barron, as well as her sister, Trina, and a multitude of other family members and friends who were fortunate to know her.
Throughout her life, Shawn embraced a variety of passions. She found joy in shopping and engaging with puzzles, crosswords, and Sudoku. An admirer of the ocean, she cherished time spent with her family, enjoyed watching cartoons, and had fun playing bingo. A lover of yard sales and baking, she relished the thrill of a good deal and was known for her competitive spirit in games like Farkle.
A funeral ceremony to honor Shawn's life will take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, with a visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
