Shawna Michelle Smith

Shawna Michelle Smith of Eureka Springs, Arkansas was born March 15, 1972, in Flagstaff, Arizona to Clarence and Paulette (Andreski) Baker. Shawna passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the age of 52.
Shawna was the owner of Ashlin's Playschool for many years. Later she became a waitress and bartender. In the last few years, she obtained her massage therapy license and opened Synergy Massage. She also cleaned houses for many people in the area. She was full of energy and when she walked into a room, she lit it up. Shawna's grandchildren, who she loved dearly, were her world. They lovingly called her Nana.
Shawna is survived by her daughters Ashlin Allee and husband Tanner and Kamryn Lehr and husband Colten, both of Berryville, Arkansas, grandchildren: Gracynn Claire, Tripp, HuxLee Kruz, Rhyatt, and Legend. Siblings: Clarece Ferguson and husband Daniel of Huntsville, Arkansas, Chad Baker and wife Sharon of Ft. Mitchell, Alabama, Brandon Conner and wife Lisa of Steilacoom, Washington. Stepfather Carroll Conner of Berryville, Arkansas, several nieces and nephews: Amanda Ferguson, Chase and Cody Baker, Paytynn, Reece and ShaLace Ferguson, Angelica Holt and husband Zack, and Jordan Conner. Her family and her dog, Lichen, will miss her greatly.
She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence Baker and Paulette Conner and her grandparents: Stanley Andreski, Pauline Clark, Les and Nancy Baker.
A Celebration of Life service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mitchell Scitern officiating. Following the service friends and family are invited to gather at the Rowdy Beaver Tavern in Eureka Springs.
