Family First Funeral & Cremations Services - MarcellusSheena Marie Wright, born on March 25, 1984, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, left this world unexpectedly on October 30, 2025, in Cadillac, Michigan. Sheena was a remarkable individual whose caring nature touched the lives of many. Throughout her life, she was known for her profound empathy and unwavering dedication to advocating for human rights and equality, often expressing her beliefs with the phrase, "you are either with humanity or you are against it."
A true free spirit, Sheena cherished her moments of solitude and embraced an unplugged lifestyle, finding joy in living off the grid. She had a dream of acquiring a piece of land to homestead, a vision she pursued with passion and determination. In her journey, she not only worked towards her own aspirations but also instilled values of selflessness and generosity in her children, Ethan Divaro and Alexandra West.
Sheena had an immense love for her family, and nothing brought her more joy than her grandbabies, Karma and Kyren Wright, with another grandchild on the way. Their happiness was her happiness, and she opened her heart and home to anyone in need of help, reflecting the deep compassion that defined her character.
In addition to her children and grandchildren, she is survived by her loving parents, Brad and Linda (McMeekan) Wright; her sister, September Dawn (Jim Givens) Wright; and nephew, Brandyn Dolph. Those who knew her will remember Sheena not only for her loving nature but also for her strength and determination to make a difference in the world around her.
Sheena is now reunited with her beloved grandparents and her cherished dog, Mena. She will be profoundly missed by her family and friends, who are left to carry her spirit forward in their hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 23, 2025 beginning at 1:00 pm at the American Legion Post 84, 410 E. Orleans Street, Otsego, MI 49078.
