Sheila Marie Cattrell, born Holley on November 22, 1956, in Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on January 18, 2026. Sheila was a spirited individual who radiated generosity and love. Known fondly as “Tequila Sheila” in her younger years, she had a fiery personality that brought warmth to all who knew her.
Sheila was a wonderful mom, proudly raising her three children: Billie (Sonny) Devinney, Dewey (Shammie) Stepp, and Bobby Stepp. Her love extended to her numerous grandchildren, who were a significant part of her life. Sheila often spoke fondly of her family, considering them her proudest accomplishments.
Sheila was not one to stand for nonsense, and her fierce spirit was matched by her kindness; she would give someone the coat off her back if they needed it. Among her interests were her beloved dogs, Sandy and Pickles, as well as fishing, bird watching, and watching sunsets. She found joy in gardening, and had a particular affection for hummingbirds and Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies.
Sheila will be deeply missed by her family, including her brothers, Mike (Glenda) Holley and Joe Holley. She joins her loved ones in eternal rest, including her parents, Henry and Edith (Harper) Holley, her husband, Gregg Cattrell, her sister, Pam Kidd, her granddaughter, Brooke, and her great-grandson, Aiden. Sheila's legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
