Sheila Rae Garringer, age 64, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away on November 14, 2025. She was born on December 26, 1960 in Searcy, Arkansas to Walter Marion Williams and Margaret Ruth Woods.

She is preceded in death by her parents, twin sister Sharon Williams, sister Barbara Putman, and sister-in-law Susan Williams.

Sheila is survived by her husband Johnny Garringer Sr.; two sons Johnny Garringer Jr. and David Garringer (Mandy); grandchildren Brittany, Tyler, Cody, and Savannah; great-grandchildren Parker, Oakley, and Clayton; siblings Wendell Williams, Cary Williams (Caitlin), Roger Williams, and Gene Putman; along with a host of extended family and friends whom she loved dearly.

Sheila was a nurse at the VA Hospital in Little Rock for 26 years before she retired due to her health. She loved her job and taking care of others. In her spare time, she enjoyed hunting and fishing. She earned her first bow kill earlier this year. Family was the most important thing to Sheila. She loved spoiling her grandkids and great-grandkids, and especially enjoyed cooking for her family. Everyone loved her coconut pies. Sheila will be deeply missed by all she held dear to her heart.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 1:00pm with the funeral service starting at 2:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville. Burial to follow at Sylvania Cemetery in Ward, Arkansas.
