Mark Garringer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Divine Mercy Funeral Home - Fort Wayne on Feb. 24, 2025.
Mark Edward Garringer, aged 71, passed away in Fort Wayne, IN on February 21, 2025. He was an incredible husband, caring father, cherished grandfather, and dear friend to many.
Born in Fort Wayne, IN, on March 22, 1953 to Arthur and Edna Garringer, Mark lived a life of laughter, kindness, and love. He was known for his direct personality, his gratitude for nature, and his love of dogs. To his friends, Mark was a source of generosity, helping whenever he could.
Mark spent the majority of his career managing plasma centers for what is now BioLife. His second career was as an agent with Coldwell Banker. After retirement, Mark treasured spending time working and putzing around his property, Sunny Acres.
Mark found solace and enjoyment in the simple moments spent with his wife, family, friends, and all of the wonderful dogs he had over the years. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and celebrated the start of every NFL season.
Mark will be immeasurably missed by his soulmate, best friend, and wife, Donna Richardson, his beautiful German Shepherd, Wilson, his children Melanie Neeley (Steve), Mark Garringer (Cherelyn), Jacob Garringer, Jason Richardson (Michelle), and Ryan Alford (Tina). His brothers, Mike (Teresa), Matt (Londa), Martin, Frank (Linda), and Andy (Marcia) will also miss him tremendously. Mark also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by both of his parents.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends of Mark's to honor and celebrate him will be held from 1-3pm, Saturday, March 1, 2025 at The Local Saloon, 4162 E. Station Rd., Roanoke, IN 46783
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Humane of Fort Wayne, IN or Wags & Wiggles Rescue of Fort Wayne, IN in memory of Mark.
Mark may have left this earthly world but his love and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of those who love him.
