Sheila (Boggs) Garrison, beloved wife, mother, Nannie, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the age of 69.
Born on January 24, 1956, Sheila was raised in Pickens, SC, by her parents, Billy J. Boggs and Nellie Sue (Smith) Boggs. She was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and deep love for her family. Her bright blue eyes and sweet, loving smile were a comfort to all who knew her.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 24 years, Barry Garrison. She is survived by her son Steve Crenshaw (Alicia) and granddaughters Gracie Nell and MaddieAnn; daughter Mandy Durham (Steven) and granddaughter Jordan McCallum (Rhett) grandson Christian Durham (Ashlee) and great granddaughter Madison Durham; daughter Alicea Foster (JP) and grandsons Wyatt Grady and Walker Paul; sons Josh and Justin Garrison; and her sister Kay Cole (Jimmy).
She is preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Horn; grandson Austin Durham; along with many loving aunts, uncles, and her grandparents.
Sheila will be lovingly remembered for her compassion, her wisdom, and the laughter she brought into every room. Her presence will be deeply missed but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 2PM at the Cremation Society of SC – Westville Funerals, located at 6010 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611. Friends and family are invited to attend and share their memories.
