Sheila (Weiland) Geier, age 84 of Mosinee, passed away on September 21, 2025. She was a spunky, friendly person who always made us laugh. Sheila married the love of her life, Allen Geier, on August 29, 1964. Sheila and Allen enjoyed a long marriage and in 2014 celebrated their 50th anniversary. Sheila was the proud mother of 4 children and the grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandkids. She loved her family fiercely. She could always be counted on to play cards or a board game. She loved reading, especially romances and she was always working on a crossword puzzle. Sheila loved gambling. Her favorite online game was Candy Crush. She enjoyed trips to the casino with her daughter Lisa and grandsons Nate and Chris. She also loved the video poker games at Hammerdown and Twice Trails End.

Sheila was a hard worker and had many jobs throughout her life. She was a secretary, a bookkeeper, a bartender, a cashier, and an assembler at Fiskars. Sheila loved music, especially country music. One of her favorite activities was dancing with Allen at family weddings or any party that had music. Sheila loved family get-togethers and having everyone at the house. She was a great hostess and made everyone feel welcome.

Sheila is survived by daughters Cassandra Zipp (Greg) and Lisa Doyle (Tim), sons Jason Geier and Jeremy Geier (Loralee), grandchildren: Nate Kroll. Christopher Webb, Zach Kroll (Amber), Hannah Woller, Logan Woller, Lexie Doyle, Natalie O'Keefe, Melanie Geier, Conor O'Keefe, Kathryn O'Keefe, Wyatt Geier, MacKenzie Geier, Jada Geier, Bobby Jo Goldsboro, Billy Weave, Haley Bourge (Oscar), Mac-her favorite grand-dog, and great grandchildren Ruby and Lincoln. Sheila also has many nieces and nephews that held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen, her sister Sandy Diedrich, and parents, Earl and Evelyn Weiland.

A graveside farewell will be held on October 11th for family at 1:00 pm at Peaceful Pines Pet Memorial and Family Sanctuary. Friends are invited to join the family for a celebration of life at Trials End at 3:00 pm.

Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society is currently assisting the family. Online condolences can be made at MWCS.WS.
