Sheila Renee Honea was born July 21, 1969, and passed away August 21, 2025, at the age of 56.
Sheila was a dedicated and important woman to her family. She was a caregiver and the peacemaker. She was an amazing mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. Sheila loved to sing and work in her yard and flower beds. If you ever needed someone in a pinch she was the person to call. She always showed up no matter the need.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Honea Sr.; children, Glen Alexander and wife Kandi, Dustin Alexander, and Robert Honea Jr.; grandchildren, Veita Breaux, Kayleigh Alexander, Brooklyn Alexander, Kinzleigh Johnson, and Aubrey Alexander; siblings, Bubba White and wife Tina, Linda Perrin and husband Mike, and Cindy Holcomb and husband Larry; brother-in-law, Roy Jordan; and fur babies, Bella and Peety.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Lee White Sr. and Joyce Duplonty White; siblings, Brenda White, Dorothy Baggett, and Carol Snapp; and brothers-in-law, John Baggett and Claude Snapp.
Pallbearers are Nate Toval, Michael Buttler, Cameron Johnson, Claude Snapp, Bubba White, and Corey Honea.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 25, 2025, with the funeral service being held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, DeRidder, Louisiana. Interment to follow at Whitaker Cemetery, DeRidder, Louisiana.
