Sheila M. (Kelly) Long of Carver passed away on October 7, 2025. Sheila was the beloved wife of Daniel Long; loving mother of Brenda Bonetti and her husband Anthony, Sheila-Beth Jarjoura and her husband Joe, Joanne Mitchell and her late husband John, Maureen Hayden and her husband Richard, Kerry Santos, Melinda Bruck, and the late Veronica Lino and her husband Gregory; cherished grandmother of Andre, Nicholas, Jonathan, Emily, Melanie, Ryan, Samantha, and Frank; dear sister of Thomas Kelly, John Kelly, Maureen O'Kelly, Kathleen Kelly, William Kelly, Peggy Kelly, and the late Frances, Terrance, Kevin, James, and Joseph Kelly.

Sheila had a deep love for her family and always put others' needs first. She was married to the love of her life for 65 years. Sheila and her husband raised six daughters in a loving home. She loved family celebrations, dancing, music, gardening, sewing, reading, traveling, bird watching, the Boston Celtics and most of all seeing her grandchildren. She was kindhearted, witty, feisty, and determined to leave this world a better place. Her passing will leave a hole in our hearts, but we know that our memories will fill that hole back up with love.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
