Obituary
Sheila Colleen MacMullan (Nee Swafford), passed away peacefully on March 14, 2023 at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD. Born in Delaware County and raised in Boothwyn, Sheila was a 1976 graduate of Chichester High School. Sheila also lived in North Wilmington, and in Harrington, DE for many years and most recently Sheila lived in the Cecil County, Maryland area. She worked for Cigna, Wilmington Dry Goods, and Fibre Metal. Sheila was a terrific artist and enjoyed painting, drawing, calligraphy, embroidery, cross stitch, writing poetry and was a member of the West Wilmington Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Ralph E. Swafford Sr., mother of the late Ryan Matthew MacMullan (2010), sister of the late Ralph "Uncle Moon" Swafford Jr. (2020) and Cathy Swafford (1992).
SURVIVORS: Her loving mother Martha A. Swafford, brothers Jeffrey Swafford (Marie) and Timothy Swafford (Rosa). Sheila is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
VISITATION: Monday March 20, 2023 from 10-11:30am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be Monday March 20, 2023, at 11:30am at the funeral home.
BURIAL will be private.
