Sheila R. Marshall (née Lawley), age 78, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on March 18, 2024.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Grace (née Killian) Lawley.
A dedicated Legal Secretary, Sheila was known for her kindness and professionalism whose heart and unwavering spirit touched the lives of many. Throughout her life, Sheila found joy in simple pleasures such as crocheting, cooking delicious meals, baking treats for her loved ones, and diving into the pages of a good book.
Sheila was the beloved wife of the late John W. Marshall; the loving mother of Marc Tregear (Wendi), Meghan Marshall, and Kerry Egan (Adam). She was the devoted and cherished grandmother of Lauren, Josh, Ben, and Will; and the caring great-grandmother of Aiden, Rowan, and Hazel. She is survived by her brothers Henry "Steve" Lawley and Patrick Lawley; as well many dear friends and extended family members. Sheila is predeceased by her loving siblings, Dennis Lawley and Maureen Wilson.
The services to honor and celebrate Sheila's life will be held at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, with a Friday evening Viewing, March 22, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, with a Saturday morning Viewing, March 23, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sheila’s memory would be appreciated to Divine Providence Village, 686 Old Marple Road, Springfield, PA 19064.
