I was fortunate to teach across the hall from Sheila for 25 of her 42 years at Our Lady of Lourdes.
She taught 100s of children there, many of whom called her their favorite including my own sons. I will miss her at our monthly lunches. May she rest in peace.

Loved her kind and gentle smile, her lively, happy teaching style. She is one of the sweetest. So inspiring in how to teach and how to be human. Storm heaven - she is loved.

Mrs McQueen was my 3rd grade teacher. She was my favorite teacher! We got to take a class trip to I think was her parents farm. I remember there were baby kittens that we all got to hold. I loved that she also taught my kids. I'm so sad to hear of her passing. Prayers to her family. She will always hold a spot in my heart.

I was just notified of Mrs McQueens passing. She was my 3rd grade teacher over 40 years ago and she taught my daughter 11 years ago. The picture I attached is of me and my daughter on the left with Mrs McQueen, and a former classmate of mine (Julia Skinner Palzer), and her son, who was in my daughter´s class. She was always, and still remains, my favorite teacher ever. She was always so kind and gentle and patient with us. To her family, I am terribly sorry for your loss. She was a great great woman and she will be missed. You will all be in my prayers.

Caitlyn, my condolences to you and your family. Your mom was one of the sweetest people I had the pleasure of knowing. My girls were so lucky to have her as their teacher. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
