Sheila Cathleen (McDorman) Stiner, age 62, resident of Haskell, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was born on August 5, 1962, in Evreux, France to parents Ronnie Dean McDorman and Wilda Faye (Hall) McDorman. Sheila's vibrant spirit and kind heart touched many throughout her lifetime.
A proud graduate of Owasso High School, Sheila dedicated many years to serving her community through her work at Walmart. She was known for her remarkable work ethic and her contributions will be deeply missed. Sheila's compassion, sense of humor, and generosity defined her, and she will be lovingly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Sheila was at her happiest when riding on the open road. Her love for motorcycle trips was not just a hobby but a way of life that she shared with her treasured biker community, and husband of 17 years. Sheila married her soulmate Gary Stiner on June 1, 2007, and together they shared an adventurous life together. Her legacy will live on through her children, Orion, Jayne, and Samantha who inherited her spirited uniqueness, each echoing her vivacious character in their own distinctive ways. Which contributed to her love for the Thanksgiving holiday because it carved out cherished traditions that drew her family close year after year, celebrating their shared uniqueness and togetherness.
Sheila is survived by her loving husband Gary Stiner, her son Orion Prather, her two daughters Jayne Colwell and husband Corey, and Samantha David and husband John, and her grandchildren Izzy, Nolan, Stailee, and Sawyer. She also leaves behind her two brothers, Phill McDorman and his wife Kim, and Brad McDorman, as well as a host of extended family, cousins, and numerous friends who were like family to her, in addition to her German Shepherd fur companions Bella and Cloud.
Sheila’s radiant smile and boundless energy will be profoundly missed, but her zest for life was infectious and will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
