Shelby Jean Johnson, 85, of Moulton, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025 at her home. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 09, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Collins officiating. Burial will be at Midway Memorial Garden.
Born on December 17, 1939 to the late John and Pauline Terry Davis, Shelby attended Hatton High School and retired from Brach's Candy Company. She was a member of Cornerstone Church where she was baptized in 2010.
Survivors include her son, John Wayne Martin; grandchildren, Allen Johnson, Alandis Johnson, Sarah Martin, Chris Martin, and Johnathan Martin; great-grandchildren, Aumi Johnson, Folsom Crum, Kouvr Huggins, and Wiley Martin; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Shelby was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Johnson, Sr.; parents; sons, Donny Martin, and Allen Johnson, II; grandson, Derek Martin; brothers, Nathan Davis, and John Wesley Davis, Jr.; and sister, Peggy Jo Berryman.
Pallbearers will be Chris Martin, Johnathan Martin, Wiley Martin, Eric Berryman, Kim Reeves, and Chris Naylor.
The family extends special thanks to all of the friends and church family who helped care for Shelby and who provided food and other support.
