Shelby Wohlk

Shelby Wohlk Age 82, of Cameron, WI, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Cumberland Care and Rehab in Cumberland, WI. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed. Shelby was born on February 4, 1941 in Prairie Farm to Clark and Marie (Walm) Wagner. She graduated from Turtle Lake High School in 1960. On May 11, 1963 she married LeRoy Wohlk and together they raised 2 daughters while residing on a dairy farm in Almena, WI. She worked part-time at the Almena Post Office for several years. She was an active member of Maranatha Evangelical Free Church in Rice Lake. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, listening to Elvis music, cooking and spending time with her family. Shelby is survived by her husband, LeRoy Wohlk; daughters, Kathy (Shawn) Harris and Sharon (Gary) Mikolon; grandchildren, Shawn (Jeannie) Harris, Shannon (Joe) Beranek, Jesse Mikolon, Amber (Marshall) Prissel and Jordan (Montana) Mikolon; great grandchildren, Leroy Harris and Millie Harris; sisters, Beverly (Robert) Stoberl and Joyce (Alfred) Becker; many nieces and nephews. Shelby was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Monday, July 31, 2023 at Maranatha Evangelical Free Church in Rice Lake, Rev. Cody Kargus and Rev. Tony Nord officiating, with interment in Pine Grove Cemetery in Cameron. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the church. Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is assisting the family with the arrangements.
