Sheldon Mark Fleming

Sheldon Mark Fleming, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, on December 30, 2023, at the much too early age of 66. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Arthur Fleming Jr. and Marilyn Caronna Fleming, and brothers-in-law, Robert Beter and David Beter.
Sheldon is survived and dearly missed by his wife of 33 years, Lesley Beter ; son, Mark Fleming; daughter-in-law, Nicole Fleming; siblings, Chester Fleming III, Dana Fleming, Nadine Fleming (Bob), Gary Fleming, and Chris Fleming; and in-laws, Gwen Beter, Betty Beter, Ricky and Liz Beter, and Brian and Ann Beter. He also leaves behind, to cherish his memory, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends whom he loved greatly.
Sheldon grew up in Metairie, Louisiana, before relocating to the Northshore with his wife and son. Sheldon graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School with the Class of 1975 and graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1979. Throughout his professional life, he had multiple business ventures. He enjoyed life to the fullest while cultivating many friendships on his journey. Anyone who met Sheldon, loved Sheldon.
