Shelia K. Burnett, born on November 4, 1951, in Malvern, Arkansas, passed away on September 24, 2025, in Arkadelphia. She was a cherished individual known for her loving and loyal nature, which enriched the lives of those around her.
Sheila dedicated her career to healthcare, serving as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a Psychiatric Unit. Her commitment to her profession was a proud accomplishment that reflected her compassionate spirit and desire to help others.
Her greatest joy came from her family, especially her beloved sons, John Allen Burnett (Stacy), Brad Burnett, and Paul Burnett. Sheila was also a proud grandmother to four grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Sheila's connections extended beyond her immediate family; she shared a deep bond with her siblings, Mary Jane Manning and James Doyle Davis.
Sheila's interests included her unwavering love for her family, her dogs, and her daily ritual of enjoying coffee – moments that defined her quality of life and the warmth of her character.
She is predeceased by her husband, John Alfred Burnett, her daughter-in-law, Wana Marie Burnett, and her parents, Doyle Davis and Mary Rickman Davis.
Sheila leaves behind a lasting legacy of dedication, love, and compassion, and she will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
A memorial service honoring Shelia will take place on October 9, 2025 at 2 PM, at Atkinson Funeral Home Inc, located in Malvern, Arkansas.
