Shelia Ann Fields, 80, of Ronceverte went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Peyton Hospice House.
She was born on February 25, 1945 in Leslie; she was the daughter of the late Jasper D'Varie Richmond and Edna Frances Rucker Richmond.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Lonnie E. "Sank" Fields; sisters, Lucy, Nyle, Linda, Cindy and Pam; brothers, Bobby and Jackie.
Shelia liked making quilts when she could. She enjoyed canning, fishing and playing solitaire. She loved Christmas time. She didn't like getting older but enjoyed and loved being with her kids, grandkids, great grandkids and great grandchild. She will be missed.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Selena Fields of Ronceverte, Michelle (James) Shawver of Dawson, Alexzandrea Fields of Ronceverte; sons, Steve (Lisa) Fields of Crawley and Ronnie (Michelle) Fields of Hominy Falls and Isaiah Fields of Marfrance ; grandchildren, Danny, RJ, Levi, Justin, Luke, Seth, Stevie, Jessica, Sarah, Autumn, Amber, Kelsi, Autumn, Logan and Hunter. 39 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and one on the way; 2 brothers, Jimmie Richmond of MD, Charles Richmond of VA, sisters, Brenda Elliott of VA, Jeannie Langford of VA and Marie Terezakis of SC.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 at Wallace & Wallace, Rainelle. Graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Fields Cemetery, Nettie with Rev. Jimmy Murdock officiating.
