Shellie Lea Wilson, 67, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on October 30, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. She was born on June 26, 1958, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to David Ira Huffman and Barbara Jean Broberg.

Shellie graduated from high school in Minnesota and completed one year of college before beginning a life filled with service, adventure, and faith. She spent several years in Alaska, where she served as a missionary, sharing her compassion and love of God with others. In 1998, she returned to Neosho, Missouri, where she made her home.

On June 27, 1998, she married Bobbie Wilson, in Scammon, Kansas, and he survives.

Shellie worked as a proposal specialist at Ducommun, where she was respected for her dedication and attention to detail. A devoted member of New Salem Baptist Church, she shared her musical talents as an accomplished pianist and found joy in worship, fellowship, and service.

She enjoyed traveling, music, and working with computers, always learning and sharing her knowledge with those around her.

Shellie is survived by her husband, Bobbie Wilson; siblings Doug (Debbie) Huffman of Minnesota; Mark (Kimberly) Huffman of Pennsylvania; and Carrie (Kelly) Hughes of Republic, Missouri; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who loved her dearly.

Shellie will be remembered for her gentle spirit, strong faith, and the love she gave so freely to family and friends.

A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 3 pm at New Salem Baptist Church, west of Neosho.
