Shelly Ann (Lovorn) Ary, 51, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Mountain Home, Arkansas. Shelly was born March 11, 1974, in West Memphis, Arkansas to Emmett and Rebecca (Crowe) Lovorn.
Shelly spent her working years as a school teacher at Mountain Grove, Missouri and Mammoth Spring, Arkansas and also as a conductor for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Baking cookies and cakes was one of her favorite pastimes. She had a passion for bulldogs and bred and raised them. Shelly was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, and she was of the Christian faith.
Shelly leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Preston Ary and wife Elizabeth of Fayette, Missouri and Ian Ary of Willow Springs, Missouri; grandson, Ace Ary of Fayette, Missouri; brother, Shane Lovorn and wife Kristy of Camp, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents (Emmett and Rebecca Lovorn).
A Celebration of Life will be 6:00 P.M. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Christian Activity Center in Thayer, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral home in Salem, Arkansas.
