Shelly May Devick, age 58, of Minneapolis and formerly of Rogers passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2023. She was born on July 24,1964 in Robbinsdale, the daughter of James and Sandra Lee (Savage) Gillquist. Shelly was a very social person, family and friends were everything! She especially loved being with her kids and her grandchildren. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She touched the lives of so many people and her bright smile will truly be missed. Survived by her children: Drew Devick and grandson Easton; Courtney Hoelmer and grandsons Harley and Axel; her mother: Sandra Belmore; a brother: Mike (Jen) Gross and nephew and niece Max & Ivy; a sister: Shar Monette and nieces Megan (her godchild) and Taylor; along with other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her father James Gillquist. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 5-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home. Optionally, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be made to offset funeral costs. Online condolences may be made to
