Shelly Phillips Obituary
Shelly Campbell Phillips, 59, of New Braunfels, TX, passed away on August 22, 2024, in Dallas, TX.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM (with family being present from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM), Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans, TX. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, August 26, 2024, at 3rd and Dwight Church of Christ with Sean Prather, officiating.
Shelly was born in Abilene, TX to Don and Carol Campbell on January 15, 1965. She married Dave Phillips on January 8, 2007 (Elvis' birthday of course!). They married in Belize and settled in New Braunfels, TX. She graduated from Monahans High School in 1983. She worked in the oil and gas industry in many roles including a pumper in the field, but she most enjoyed her jobs in oil and gas sales because she loved to be around people. She was an extremely devoted Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys fan and went to an immeasurable number of games throughout her life. She loved spending time with her friends.
Shelly is preceded in death by her parents Don and Carol Campbell, her grandson Raxton Jones, her granddaughter Camryn Jo Allridge, her aunts Patricia Beckham, and Connie Lee and Marjorie Braswell, and uncles Lonnie Campbell, and Tommy Beckham.
She is survived by her husband, Dave Phillips; brother, Mike Campbell; daughter, Angela Allridge and husband, Stan Allridge, and grandson, Collin Allridge; daughter, Lindsay Jones and husband, Ryan Jones and granddaughter, Ria Jones; son, Micah Campbell and grandson, Dean Campbell; aunts, Lou Perry, Colleen Beckham and Jan Campbell; uncle, Larry Beckham and wife, Janet Beckham; uncle, Ricky Beckham; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and honorary family members.
