Sheree Lynn Williams was called home on September 20, 2025, surrounded by love and peace. She was born on November 4,1958 to Doris Anita Smith and James Smith in Louisville, KY . She moved to Los Angeles in 1970 where she graduated from Ramona high school. Sheree lived a life marked by compassion, strength, and unwavering devotion to family.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Sheree’s greatest joy came from nurturing those closest to her. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Sherrod Knight (De’Netria) , and her cherished grandchildren; Kamarih Knight , Ke’Amani Knight , Dae’Zarrien Dulin , Ma’Kharri Dulin-Knight, Brai’Lynn Dulin-Knight and A’Xyhis Dulin who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and resilience.
Sheree also leaves behind her dear siblings: Kathyleen Smith, Virginia Pennington(Carl), Kimberly Craig, and Michael Smith. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bruce Smith and Eric Smith; whose memory she held close to her heart.
She also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews: Misty Smith, Tamara Delaney (Terrell), Joshua Fowler Sr (Leah), Maisha Guy, Eric Smith Sr (Nicole), Ingrid Wilson (Paul), Jerome Smith and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, god children and family and friends.
Her warmth, laughter, and generous spirit brightened every room she entered. Though we will miss her presence deeply, we find comfort in knowing that her love lives on in all the lives she touched.
