Sherian Elizabeth Grindstaff

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sherian Carpenter Grindstaff , aged 57, of Bessemer City, North Carolina. Born on January 5, 1968, Sherian departed this life peacefully on November 27, 2025. She was a beloved daughter, cherished friend, and a compassionate soul who touched the lives of all who knew her.

Sherian was a proud member of the Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lincolnton, NC, where she found joy and solace in her faith and community. Her love for family was unmatched, and she was known for her vibrant spirit and a warm smile that could brighten the darkest of days. Sherian had a passion for music and found happiness in watching Lifetime movies, often sharing these moments with her loved ones.

She is survived by her mother, Pat Hall; father, John Carpenter Sr; son, Mark Haas; nephew, Bryson P Carpenter. Sherian's memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A graveside service for Sherian will take place at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 509 Long Shoals Rd. Lincolnton on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 2:00 pm.

Sherian Grindstaff will be dearly missed but forever remembered for the love she shared and the joy she brought into our lives.

Sherian was preceded in death by brother, John A Carpenter Jr; paternal grandparents, Bonnie and Paul Service, Woodrow Carpenter; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Fern Hall.
