Sherman Duane Ryan age 42 of Oregon, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Sherman was born in Oregon, Ohio on December 22, 1982. He was a 2001 graduate of Clay High School. Sherman started working at age 14 in lawn service and continued off and on throughout his life. He was mechanically inclined and could fix about anything. Sherman started fixing cars and installing stereo equipment at a young age. He worked as a mechanic for many years before starting his own company, SDR Lawncare. Sherman was a people person and always available for friends and family. He fixed cars, helped out during emergencies, and could always be counted on with a smile and a laugh to help out in tough times. Sherman was there when you called, he loved helping people and he also loved animals. He had a big heart and will be missed forever.
Sherman is survived by his parents Suzan and Michael Sr.; brothers Zak (Morgan Santibanez) and Michael Jr., nieces and nephews Ashley (Michael), Kyle, Broc, Aiden, Theodore, and Serena; grandparents Gene and Vicki Clegg; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents Duane and Elizabeth Lykowski, Edward and Patricia Ryan, Aunt Pamala Jeremy, Uncle Timothy Ryan, Aunt Kim Santus, Aunt Patricia Ryan, cousin Christopher, girlfriend Holly Owens, and friend Justin Duncan.
