Maureen Ryan

Maureen Ryan, 93, of North Haven, Connecticut, passed away on February 17, 2026, in Meriden, CT at Midstate Medical Center. Maureen (Cook) Ryan was born in Derby, CT to Patrick and Rosabelle Cook on November 15, 1932. She graduated from Ansonia high school. She worked as a secretary for the New Haven Register. She enjoyed baking chocolate chip cookies and brownies for the family, especially for her grandchildren and also enjoyed watching golf and cooking shows. Maureen is survived by sons, Patrick (Cindy) of North Haven, CT and Timothy (Lori) of Wallingford, CT. Grandchildren - Kevin Ryan, Kelley Ryan (Zach), Andrew (Melody) Killips, and Ryan (Jennifer) Killips, Christine (Tom) Ryan-Benton, Jessica Ryan, Timothy Ryan. Great-grandson, Beckett. She is also survived by siblings, J. Francis (Carolyn) Cook, Robert Cook, and Ronald Cook who all considered her their big "SIS". She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ryan and by a brother Edward Cook and a sister Judy Koproski. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Midstate Hospital Pavillion C nurses and staff.
