Sherre Rosdahl Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 5, 2025.
Our beloved, Sherre Dawn Rosdahl, died on August 29, 2025, after a long illness in Rexburg, Idaho. At long last she is back in the arms of her mother and father who she loved very dearly.

Born in Pocatello, ID on September 18, 1954, to Byron and Evajune Rosdahl, she blossomed under their loving umbrella along with her surviving brothers, Kenneth Galloway Rosdahl and Alan Byron Rosdahl.

Sherre' obtained her nursing degree with honors from the University of Washington. She went on to a career at Seattle Children's Hospital caring for terminally ill children. Her love and care for her patients gave her an inner strength that she carried all her days. It also took a toll on her that she internalized.

She never married or had children, but cats became the objects of her love. She often would prioritize their care before her's.

She traveled, loved books and horror movies, and had a special talent for cross-stitching. Her hands were always busy with various projects.
To all who knew Sherre she was the embodiment of sweetness. Even as illness crept up on her, she was able to maintain her special gift. Her smile, laugh and empathy were always available for the taking.

In lieu of flowers, please send your remembrances to your local humane society.
