Sherri Lou Everitt, 55, Pendleton, died Jan. 27, 2025,from injuries sustained in an accident. She was born Oct. 10, 1969, in Anderson, to Robert Earl and Saundra Lou (Dempsey) Everitt.
She attended Pendleton schools and graduated from Madison Heights High School. Sherri lived her life as a free spirit,who loved living off the land.
Survivors include her mother, Saundra (Dwight) Hess; daughter, Megan (Zechariah) Newton;grandchildren, Lydia, Sterling and Solomon; sister, Lisa (Chuck) Woodruff; brothers, James (Lisa) Everitt and Brad Everitt; special niece, Lexy (Jake) Myers; special great-nephew, Jensen; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by father, Robert Earl Everitt in 2021; and grandparents, Wilbur and Oval Dempsey, and Earl and Odessa Everitt.
Celebration of Life will be at 5p.m. Saturday, Feb.1, at Bozell Funeral Home, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, in Anderson with visitation one hour before.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses. Donation envelopes will be provided at services, or the family would like everyone to know they can call the funeral home office with donations provided by credit or debit card.
