Sherri L. Muller, 66, of Norris City, Illinois, passed away on February 6, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on January 12, 1959, in McLeansboro, Illinois, to Delmer and Katherine (Robb) Stephens.
Sherri dedicated much of her life to caring for others as a certified nursing assistant, working in various local nursing homes for many years. She found great fulfillment in helping those in need and had a deep compassion for people.
Beyond her career, Sherri cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a special love for animals and enjoyed tending to them with care and kindness.
She is survived by her husband, James Muller; her children, Jeremy (Clarissa) Muller and Jason (Betty) Muller; her grandchildren, Donaven Krack, Haylee "Nate" Cox, Anthony "Deonna" Muller, Jayden "Mac" Muller, and Savannah Muller; four great-grandchildren; and her siblings, George Stephens, Michael Robb, Ellen Foster, and Katherine Stephens. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Michael Alan Krack.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Denning Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
Sherri's kindness and devotion to others will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
