Forever in Our Hearts

Waymon Allen Roberts and Whitlyn Jean Roberts

On August 7, 2025, our precious twins, Waymon Allen and Whitlyn Jean, came into our lives and straight into our hearts. Waymon arrived at 8:27 p.m., weighing 10 ounces and measuring 10 inches long. Whitlyn followed at 9:49 p.m., weighing 8.5 ounces and measuring 9¼ inches long.

Though their time here was brief, they knew only love. We held them close, kissed their tiny fingers and toes, and marveled at every perfect feature. In the quiet moments we had together, they were surrounded by warmth, tenderness, and the deepest love we could give.

Waymon and Whitlyn are the cherished children of Danielle and Greg Roberts. They are deeply loved by their great-grandparents, Mark and Belinda "Nana" Duckworth, Donald Neaveill, and Kimberly Peerman; grandparents, Matthew and Hazel Osborne, Daniel and Amy McDurmon, and Ricky and Melody Roberts; honorary grandparents, Brian and Casey Merimee; their aunts and uncles, Cayden Winegar (Haylee Findley), Billy Osborne, Ginny McDaniel, and Jocelyn Abel; and special cousins, Carter Howe, Mason Osborne, and Khloe Osborne. Countless other family members and friends will forever carry their memory in their hearts.

They were preceded in death by their grandmother Sandy Roberts and great-grandfather Kyle Peerman.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the Denning Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with burial to follow in Bellefontaine Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 1:30 p.m. until service time.

In place of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses. Online condolences may be left at denningfamilyfuneralhome.com

Our tiny angels brought with them a love so pure and a bond so unbreakable. We will miss them every moment of our lives, but we take comfort in knowing they are together, watching over us.
