Michael L. Moore, 59, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at his home on July 19, 2025. He was born in Evansville on January 4, 1966, to Charles Moore and Sharon Gambrel.
Following his graduation from high school, Michael proudly enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Bragg. He took great pride in his service to his country and carried that sense of duty with him throughout his life.
Michael is survived by his children, his beloved aunt and uncle, and many special friends who will deeply miss his presence. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private services will be held at a later date.
