Sherri Lynn Rhoads, 67, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, surrounded by family. Born in 1957 to Nancy and Russell Iverson in Muskegon Michigan. Sherri attended Muskegon High School. Having moved throughout Michigan as a young adult, over to California and down to Florida, Sherri ultimately returned home to West Michigan to be close to family.
Sherri is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jerry Rhoads; children: Vanessa, Christopher, and Ryan; grandchildren: Christian, Jace, and Jude; sisters Judy and Lexi, and several cousins.
Sherri was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy & Russell, and brother, Brian.
Sherri was loved by everyone she met and would go out of her way to help anyone in need. Over the years, she opened her home to those in need a of place to stay and always tried to feed anyone who stopped over. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. All the kids would bring out her silly side and would spend time goofing around, laughing, and reminiscing about the pranks we all played on each other throughout the years... to which her children may tell you she started, and they will carry on. Sherri loved music, dancing, reading and trivia games; and she made the best peanut butter fudge.
Per Sherri's wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services have been scheduled at this time. A celebration of life may be scheduled at a future date.
