Steven Rhoads Obituary
Steven D. Rhoads, 70, Emporia, passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Ascension Saint Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Steven was born in Emporia on June 27, 1955, the son of Lee Roy and Roberta Inez (Lambeth) Rhoads. He is survived by his sister; Virginia Smith (Joe) Emporia, Kansas, brothers; Donald Rhoads (Nena), Emporia, Kansas and Thomas Rhoads, Americus, Kansas and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, and younger brother, Roscoe.
Mr. Rhoads was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a self-taught drummer and enjoyed working on cars and his house.
Cremation is planned. Services will be announced for a later date. Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
