Sherri Lynn Stack, age 72, of Crestwood, MO, died November 14, 2025

She was born in Alton, Illinois in 1953 to Carl Reynolds and Dorothy (Stricklin) Reynolds. Sherri attended Edwardsville High School. After high school she was a stay-at-home mom for years before returning to the workforce. She was a manager at McDonalds and a telephone operator. Her favorite job was owning and running the Clean Connection in Edwardsville.

Sherri was preceded in death by her father Carl Reynolds, mother Dorothy Reynolds, brother Donald Reynolds, and husband Edward T. Stack. She is survived by daughter Angela Asano and her husband Edward, son Aaron Stack and his wife Alana, and granddaughter Naomi.

She was well-loved and will be deeply missed.

I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend
He referred to the dates on the tombstone
From the beginning…to the end

He noted that first came the date of birth
And spoke the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years

For that dash represents all the time
That they spent alive on earth.
And now only those who loved them
Know what that little line is worth

For it matters not, how much we own,
The cars…the house…the cash.
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.
